Child Welfare Information Gateway - Adoption
Resources on all aspects of domestic and intercountry adoption, including adoption from foster care. Includes information for prospective and adoptive parents; information about searching for birth relatives; and resources for professionals on recruiting adoptive families, preparing children and youth, supporting birth parents, and providing postadoption services.

Adoptive Families Magazine
Adoptive Families, the award-winning national adoption magazine, is the leading adoption information source for families before, during, and after adoption.

Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption
Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a nonprofit 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 150,000 children waiting in North America's foster care systems.

North American Council on Adoptable Children
Founded in 1974 by adoptive parents, the North American Council on Adoptable Children is committed to meeting the needs of waiting children and the families who adopt them.

Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute
The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute, founded in 1996, is a national not-for-profit organization devoted to improving adoption policy and practice.

Adoptive Family Support Network
Since 1991, Adoptive Family Support Network has been providing support for adoptive families throughout West Michigan.

Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange
The Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange is an information and referral service for prospective adoptive parents interested in adopting children with "special needs," and for adoption workers looking for homes for these children.

Michigan Heart Gallery
The Michigan Heart Gallery is a photographic exhibit of children in the foster care system who are waiting for a permanent family of their own through adoption. The exhibit reaches out to prospective adoptive parents and the community, providing a beautiful way to learn about foster care and adoption.

Families for International Children
FFIC is a parent group providing support to families interested in international adoption, education for ourselves and the community, awareness of world cultures, and relief to homeless children abroad.
