Area Agency on Aging of West Michigan
Provides information on assisting seniors in living independently in their own communities. Provides information on Medicaid/Medicare assistance and links to caregiver support resources.

Gerontology Network
Access information on remaining active in the community, safe and independent at home, and finding community resources for respite and mental health services.

Michigan Office of Services to the Aging
An important resource for older adults, family members, and caregivers who are interested in information on aging in Michigan. Includes referrals to community programs available in the West Michigan area.

West Michigan Caregivers Alliance
Provides information on resources available for caregivers in Kent County.

This website provides information on local community centers as well as information on such topics as senior housing, senior meals and transportation programs.

Lifelong Learning:

Kent District Library's Computer Confidence Classes for Seniors
A series of classes offered by KDL to increase user confidence with computers, e-mail, the internet, and word-processing software. Patrons can sign up for one or all of the classes offered.

Kent District Library's Services for the Disabled
The Kent District Library offers a number of services, materials, and equipment for the physically handicapped or blind patron. From free home delivery of library materials to large-print and audiobooks, KDL is here to serve you!

West Michigan Alliance for Gerontology Education
An alliance formed to further "gerontological knowledge, education, skills and resources in West Michigan".

Calvin Academy of Lifelong Learning
